Spicy Algerian Chicken Wraps with Blazing Algerian Sauce

Introduction


These Algerian chicken wraps are inspired by the spicy, creamy wraps found across North African food trucks. Thanks to Blazing’s Algerian Sauce, you get depth of flavour, heat, and richness in one spoonful. Perfect for lunchboxes, meal prep or a Friday fakeaway.

Ingredients


  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp Blazing Algerian Sauce

  • 2 tortilla wraps

  • Shredded lettuce

  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced

  • Chips or fries (optional, for wrap filling)

  • Extra Algerian sauce for drizzling






Method



  1. Cook the Chicken:

    Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and fry the chicken for 6–7 minutes. Add 3 tbsp Algerian Sauce and stir until warmed through.

  2. Assemble the Wraps:

    Warm wraps, then layer with shredded lettuce, onion, fries (if using), and the hot chicken. Drizzle with extra sauce.

  3. Wrap & Serve:

    Roll tightly and enjoy hot.





Serving Suggestion:


Pair with a light cucumber and mint yoghurt salad to cool the heat and balance the richness.
