Ingredients
2 x 400g cans young green jackfruit in brine, drained/shredded
4 tbsp Blazing Sticky BBQ Sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely sliced
½ tsp smoked paprika
4 soft burger buns or rolls
Pickles or slaw (optional topping)
Method
Sauté the Onion:
Warm 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onion and cook for 5 minutes until soft.
Cook Jackfruit:
Add shredded jackfruit and ½ tsp smoked paprika. Stir for 2 minutes.
Add the Sauce:
Stir in 4 tbsp Blazing Sticky BBQ Sauce. Cook for 8–10 minutes, allowing sauce to caramelise.
