Ingredients



  • 2 x 400g cans young green jackfruit in brine, drained/shredded

  • 4 tbsp Blazing Sticky BBQ Sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, finely sliced

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • 4 soft burger buns or rolls

  • Pickles or slaw (optional topping)





Method



  1. Sauté the Onion:

    Warm 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onion and cook for 5 minutes until soft.

  2. Cook Jackfruit:

    Add shredded jackfruit and ½ tsp smoked paprika. Stir for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the Sauce:

    Stir in 4 tbsp Blazing Sticky BBQ Sauce. Cook for 8–10 minutes, allowing sauce to caramelise.

  4. Serve:

    Spoon the mixture into burger buns and add pickles or slaw if desired.
