Ingredients
500g boneless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
4 tbsp Blazing Teriyaki Sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Spring onions, sliced, for garnish
Skewers (wooden or metal)
Method
Make the Marinade:
In a bowl, mix 4 tbsp of Blazing Teriyaki Sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, and 1 tbsp sesame oil.
Marinate the Chicken:
Add 500g of chicken thigh chunks to the marinade and mix well. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavour).
Prepare Skewers:
Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them for 10 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.
Cook the Skewers:
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for 12–15 minutes, turning regularly until the chicken is cooked through and nicely caramelised.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions. Serve hot.
Serving Suggestion
Pair with jasmine rice and steamed greens or serve cold in wraps with crunchy veg.
