Love sweet and sour chicken but want something quicker, tastier, and with more bite? This stir fry is your answer. Using Blazing’s Sweet Chilli Sauce, it brings a flavourful, vibrant twist to a classic dish — ready in no time.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 small onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp Blazing Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Cooked jasmine rice, to serve
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Method
Sauté the Chicken:
Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring until lightly browned and just cooked.
Add Aromatics and Veg:
Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 sliced onion, 1 red pepper, and 1 green pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
Add the Sauce:
Reduce heat to medium. Add 3 tbsp of Blazing Sweet Chilli Sauce and 1 tbsp of soy sauce, stirring until everything is well coated and warmed through.
Serve:
Spoon over a bed of freshly cooked jasmine rice. Sprinkle with 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish if desired.
