Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir Fry with Blazing Chilli Sauce

Introduction

Love sweet and sour chicken but want something quicker, tastier, and with more bite? This stir fry is your answer. Using Blazing’s Sweet Chilli Sauce, it brings a flavourful, vibrant twist to a classic dish, ready in no time.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp Blazing Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Cooked jasmine rice, to serve
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, optional

Method

  1. Sauté the chicken:
    Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring until lightly browned and just cooked through.
  2. Add aromatics and vegetables:
    Stir in minced garlic, sliced onion, red pepper, and green pepper. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
  3. Add the sauce:
    Reduce heat to medium. Add the Sweet Chilli Sauce and soy sauce, stirring until everything is evenly coated and warmed through.
  4. Serve:
    Spoon over freshly cooked jasmine rice and finish with sesame seeds if desired.

Serving Suggestion

Add a squeeze of lime or fresh coriander for extra brightness and freshness.
